Expertise

As a senior lawyer at Freshfields, Sunny worked both in the Singapore as well as London offices. He is involved in local and cross-border transactions, including acquisitions, mergers and joint ventures; the listing of public companies; securities and fund management transactions and advice; project finance and other types of credit facilities in the ASEAN and Asia-Pacific region, debt restructuring and general banking, corporate and commercial matters. Sunny sits on the boards of several companies listed in Singapore. He has appeared as expert witness on corporate and banking laws of Singapore in the courts of Thailand, and is named as a leading banking and finance lawyer in Singapore in Chambers Global List of The World's Leading Lawyers, and Euromoney's Guide to the World's Leading Banking Lawyers.
